Dear reader, thank you so much for having reached the fourth part of the
horrendous story of FacingFaces and Facts 3 i.e. 'Arrested and beaten'. I'm in
the fourth week also of writing FFF 3 and in the past weeks the story has even
become more horrendous.
Because when a protester has been arrested undoubtedly she/he has been taken to
either the notorious evin prison or to so-called 'secret prisons' to hide for
their families and friends where they are but moreso to hide what is happening
to them. To give you just one of the, I'm afraid many, what happens to them:
Hungerstrike: since January 14 2023 are in arrest: Yasir Fereydouni, Kianoush
Mahdoever, Alireza Forouhar, Benjamin Evra, Mahmoud Turnak, Saeed Farhadi and
Saeed Seyadat. After being arrested by the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC)
forces, they were subjected to torture in custody. The demand of the political
prisoners is a fair trial.
And yes, in the past weeks the judiciary has not given anybody who was arrested
a fair trial including --names of the executed. Many international ngo's like
Amnesty International; HRANA ( Human Rights Activists News Agency among others
are speaking of 'show trials'.
And dozens of women went into hungerstrikes in the recent past and up to this
recent day for the same reason.
Another is and I quote:
NCRI Womens committee Podcast
7 Jan 2023
<<Political prisoner Maryam Akbari Monfared, one of Iran's bravest women.
....
In her letter, she wrote about that night:
<Without giving me a chance to say goodbye to my loved ones, they took me to
Evin prison to give some explanations and made the ridi-culous promise that 'you
will return to your children in the morning.
As of December 29, 2022, thirteen years have passed since I was se-parated from
my 4-year-old Sarah and my two 12-year-old daughters on that winter midnight.>.
Since her arrest, Maryam has been under constant torture and pressure, including
the denial of urgent medical treatment. <This is not a story you are reading;
it's the true story of the suffering of only one out of 85 million,> Maryam wrote in her letter. <On this side of the bars, in the dark desert of torture
and oppression, as far as one can see - even where one cannot see - there is
just vileness and brutality.> Maryam Akbari Monfared is one of Iran's most
resistant political prisoners.>>

April 8 2023 UPDATE:
In the meantime almost 22,500 people have been arrested according to activists.
More than 537, including dozens of children, have been killed, according to
HRANA ( Human Rights Activists News Agency ).
Wherever an arrested protester are jailed and are physical assaulted, and in
case of women sexually violated and raped. And of the 22.500 I'm very afraid
that they are (also) tortured.
Tortured. Also I'm
writing now April 8th. 2023 and many of the arrested women are 'punished'
with severe lashes of up to 186 and bailing out comes to a exorbitant high
price: 2.000.000 Tomans (= 47.3373 (USD) U.S. Dollars). 10 April 203 UPDATE:
thousands of the protesters were injured and some were maimed,
especially those who were shot in the eye.
Iranian students, digital rights activists
but especially Women.
From the very beginning of the revolution it were and are especially women who have the courage to stand up to khamenei, basij, judiciary and the
islamic revolutionary guard corps (IRGC) and who are leading the revolution. But they do so because as many often
say: 'If I bleed I bleed for Iran.'
But the prize is high: on November 25th. 2022 the online daily magazine NCRI
Womens committee published a list of 61 girls and women who were killed in cold
blood and aged 7 to 62. Click here to view the list:
https://women.ncr-iran.org/2022/11/25/the-list-of-women-and-girls-killed/
I fear that the list has doubled by now, January 30th. 2023, especially where a
lot of women have been taken to secret prisons where fact is that's where, to
start with, they are (gang-) raped and tortured and Allah Forbids are killed.
Update 13 April 2023: The regime is now also targetting female students
who solidarize with the movement where Iran's Student Union Council announced on
Tuesday that at least 435 students have been suspended or expelled following the
recent protests across the country. According to the Human Rights Activists News
Agency (HRANA), 637 students from 144 universities have been arrested since
mid-September.
I stop here for now, hoping, Ins'Allah, I'll not need to continue this part but
if I have to I will. This is my pledge to the brave revolutionists of Iran.
